A classic Matcha Latte recipe. It's a lot easier to make than most think! There are many benefits to making your own Matcha Latte:
- Use your own milk
- Add as much or as little sugar as you want
- Jazz it up with, e.g. strawberry compote
Discover how to make your own Matcha Latte - it's fast and fuss-free!
3-4 grams (1.5-2 tsp) of Barista Uji Matcha Powder
60ml (1/4 cup) of water
80-120ml (1/3-1/2 cup) of your preferred milk
4-8g (1-2 tsp) of sugar (optional but recommended)
a whisk - you can use a Matcha Whisk or electric whisk
Sieve 2 small scoops of Matcha Powder.
Add 60ml of hot water (non-boiling water preferred, about 80 degrees Celsius).
Whisk with aMatcha Whisk or electric whisk in a bowl.
Mix in with 80-120ml of your favourite milk (dairy, oat or soy). Use less milk if you prefer your Matcha Latte to be less milky!
Add the whisked Matcha slowly for beautiful swirls.
Add sugar to taste.
Optional - add foamed milk and a dash of Matcha Powder atop.
Mix well and enjoy!

Smooth and delicious matcha, I find it to be a good level of grassy and with minimal bitterness - works well with dairy milk, and I also did a version at home with banana pudding since that is all the rage! Delivery was really fast too, and I like that the subscription can be customised to suit my timing needs.
This super frother makes preparing matcha a breeze! Really suitable for people who are always rushing for time and in need of a quick fix. Matcha has high quality and needs no sieving too. Will continue supporting :)
The taste of this powder is just to my liking - not too floral, not too bitter and not too nutty. It complements my preference for a neutral yet umami matcha flavour. Would recommend!!
On my third packets now , loving the non bitter taste, its been a staple to my morning breakfast.
This recipe damn nice
My recent favourite recipe:
3 scoops of matcha powder
1 tablespoon of cacao powder
Half packet of fair price brand 2in1 coffee
Full cup of oat milk (outside)
Had a matcha party and was fun with Sakura powder and matcha latte. Delicious.
This glass has kept my matcha beverage warm and it has a nice shape to hold. I have received 3 of these glass mugs at separate times while on my subscription. I hope to stop receiving any more glass mugs as I do not need so many of them. Perhaps Crafti can make it an option for subscribers to select discounts off their subscription or something new or an item that subscribers need replacing. instead of sending the same thing repeatedly.
Bought crafti's ceremonial uji matcha powder from their craft tea fox days and still a loyal customer! The resealable zip lock to store the matcha securely is faulty for this particular purchase but nothing a container can't help.
It's a good sized travel bottle that is just enough for a serving of matcha! There's also a thin metal sieve provided (I think for tea leaves) though it was a little sharp so handle with care!
It is said to be sakura powder, but smells and taste like rose syrup. Makes the drink really pretty though. Color through camera is very subtle

The frother really helps to make the matcha frothy and smooth. The precision scoop makes everything easier by weighing 1gm each scoop. My 10 year old daughter enjoys using the kit to make different matcha drinks for me. The matcha is of good quality. I also like it that I will also receive complimentary gifts a few more times, plus I can cancel the subscription anytime. The freedom to do so is freeing and empowering.
